Work Sequence
Access:- Is property access restricted (driveway torn up, building entrances blocked off)?
- Is unloading area available reasonably close to the work?
- Will a knowledgeable person need to be present to allow Brace Point access to building, deck or work area?
- Is access available to work areas (doors masked off for paint, tile-setter’s work area blocking access, carpet-layers installing in front of patio door, etc.)?
- Is electricity available within each residential unit?
- What company erected the scaffolding? Who is the competent person who inspected the scaffolding?
- Elastomeric coatings. Are deck surfaces completely finished with top coats? Are deck surfaces adequately cured for us to walk on?
- Are all deck boards installed and trimmed to length?
- Are stairs built and finished, including treads, stringers and landings?
- If railings attach to walls, are wall finishes complete (corner boards/siding on, stucco color-coat finished, caulking complete)?
- Is parapet wall flashing cap installed and caulked, if necessary?
- Is all backing/blocking installed?
- What units are ready for installation?
